DAMON WAYANS, AWARD-WINNING COMEDIAN, SCHEDULED TO
PERFORM AT SENECA NIAGARA CASINO & HOTEL
Performance set for October 28; Tickets on sale
NIAGARA FALLS, NEW YORK - One of the men who helped redefine comedy in the 1990s is coming to Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel.
Damon Wayans, a star of stand-up, television and motion pictures, will perform in the Seneca Events Center on Saturday, October 28 at 8 p.m. Tickets for the performance are $30, $40 and $50, and available at the Eight Clans Gift Shop inside Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel, at all Ticketmaster locations and on-line at www.ticketmaster.com and at www.SenecaNiagaraCasino.com. Most recently the star of the hit ABC comedy series My Wife and Kids, Wayans received national recognition and acclaim for his three seasons as a writer and co-star on the groundbreaking, Emmy® Award-winning series In Living Color. It was on that show where Wayans made such memorable characters as "Homey the Clown," "Handiman" and "Men on Film" household names.
Wayans has also enjoyed tremendous for his success in stand-up. After starting his career in 1982 touring the comedy club circuit, he landed a role as a featured player on the famed NBC series Saturday Night Live.
Wayans went on to star in his own critically acclaimed HBO specials, One Night Stand, The Last Stand and Still Standing.
Also a talented author, Wayans penned "Bootleg" in 1999. A humorous compilation of his observations on family, children, marriage and politics, the book was a tremendous success and quickly hit the New York Times Bestseller List.
