THE QUEEN OF SOUL TO PERFORM FIRST CONCERT AT NEW SENECA NIAGARA CASINO & HOTEL - Aretha Franklin scheduled to perform January 1

NIAGARA FALLS, NEW YORK - Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel announced that it will begin 2006 with a performance by one of music's most legendary artists.

Aretha Franklin, known to many as the Queen of Soul, will perform in the new Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel's Seneca Event Center at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 1, 2006.

"Aretha Franklin is one of the most remarkable entertainers in the world," John Pasqualoni, President and CEO, Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel, said. "As we open Niagara Falls' newest wonder, we wanted to present our patrons with an evening of world-class entertainment."

Franklin boasts one of the most dynamic and recognizable voices in the world. Over the course of her nearly 50-year career, she has recorded hit songs in the areas of gospel, soul, R&B, pop, hip-hop and even opera.

Best known for her recordings with Motown, Franklin's career has produced such incredible songs as "Chain of Fools," "You Make Me Feel (Like A Natural Woman)," "Think," and her signature song "Respect."

Tickets for Aretha Franklin's performance will go on sale on Friday, November 18. Prices are $100, $75 and $60.

The Seneca Event Center will be a signature component of the new, 26-story Seneca Niagara Casio & Hotel. Located on the hotel tower's second floor, the 35,000-square-foot space can house various performances and events from concerts and conferences to sporting events and banquets.

Scheduled for a partial opening on New Year's Eve, the new Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel will feature 604 luxury rooms, new restaurants, a swimming pool and a full-service salon and spa when it is completed in March 2006.

Seneca Niagara Casino is New York State's first full-service casino featuring reel-spinning and video slot machines. Just a few blocks from world-famous Niagara Falls, the casino is located at 310 Fourth Street. The 112,590 square-foot gaming floor houses more than 3,200 slot machines and 70 table games.
