SENECA NIAGARA CASINO TO OPEN UPSCALE ULTRA LOUNGE - HUSH to introduce urban style club entertainment

NIAGARA FALLS, NEW YORK - Beginning next week, visitors will notice a change to one of Seneca Niagara Casino's eateries. Morrie's Place, the sportsthemed restaurant and pub located on the Casino's main concourse, will be closed to make way for a new upscale ultra lounge called HUSH. The change is effective Monday, October 3 with construction of HUSH to begin immediately.

"Morrie's Place has been an extremely popular destination within Seneca Niagara Casino," Barry E. Snyder, Sr., President of the Seneca Nation of Indians and Chairman of the Seneca Gaming Corporation, said. "However, with the new dining establishments planned for the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel, we have the unique opportunity to create a dynamic new atmosphere on the concourse area." HUSH, scheduled to open in December, will be a key component of a new Seneca Niagara Casino entertainment zone. Modeled after the success of such notable Las Vegas ultra lounges - the MGM Grand's Tabú and the twin lounges of Caramel and Mist at Bellagio and Treasure Island respectively, HUSH will introduce a new style of upscale "clubbing" to the region.

HUSH is being created by The MRM Hospitality Group, led by one of Western New York's most dynamic and successful entertainment impresarios: Michael R. Militello. Militello has been on the cutting edge of hospitality concepts for the past 25 years, establishing himself as an innovator and bold decision maker in the pursuit of the finest and most satisfying entertainment experiences. Assisting in the architectural design is Buffalo-based architect Carmina Woods, PC.

"Opening HUSH introduces an element of nightlife never before experienced in our area," said Militello. "From the rich décor, music, sensual lighting, European bottle service, designated VIP areas and more, HUSH will be sexy, sensuous and glamorous, a concept that must be experienced."

Appealing to out-of-town guests and both the local and Canadian markets, HUSH will provide an intimate yet vibrant atmosphere that can transform throughout the night from comfortable happy hour to sophisticated chic. An advanced sound and lighting system can be changed with the touch of a button. And live music will be featured regularly.

"Exciting nightlife is an important part of our plans for Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel," John Pasqualoni, President and CEO, Seneca Gaming Corp., added. "We are very eager to unveil all of the new developments taking shape here and believe that our patrons will thoroughly enjoy themselves during each visit."

In order to off-set the closing of Morrie's Place, casino officials announced that a lunch menu will be implemented at The Western Door: A Seneca Steakhouse until December. The new lunch hours will be 11:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. daily.

The Morrie's name will live on in the new Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel in the form of Morrie's Express, a deli/market concept that will be located in the hotel lobby. Morrie's Place was named in honor of Maurice "Morrie" Cloud, a former Seneca Nation Councillor who was instrumental in the planning and completion of Seneca Niagara Casino.

Seneca Niagara Casino is New York State's first full-service casino featuring reel-spinning and video slot machines. Just a few blocks from world-famous Niagara Falls, the casino is located at 310 Fourth Street. The 112,590 square-foot gaming floor houses more than 3,200 slot machines and 98 table games. A separate smoke-free casino, Turtle Island, is also available to patrons, along with the Poker Room and the high-stakes Blue Heron Room.

In addition to gaming, Seneca Niagara Casino offers several restaurants including Thunder Falls Buffet, Morrie's Place and The Western Door: A Seneca Steakhouse. The Bear's Den Showroom, a 443-seat showroom-style theater, and Club 101, a unique music venue located in the heart of the gaming floor, provide live entertainment. Free parking is available to patrons through complimentary valet services, self-parking areas, and a four-story garage with covered walkway. The Casino is owned and operated by the Seneca Nation of Indians.
