HOCKEY LEGENDS TO GATHER AT SENECA NIAGARA CASINO FOR CELEBRITY POKER TOURNAMENT

NIAGARA FALLS, NEW YORK -Seneca Niagara Casino will shine when some of the biggest names in the history of professional hockey gather to participate in a Celebrity Poker Tournament presented by Seneca Gaming &Entertainment on Sunday, August 7. The tournament will benefit the Louis J.Billittier Foundation.

Hockey Hall of Fame members Bobby Hull, Marcel Dionne, and Scotty Bowman will be joined by Buffalo legends Richard Martin, Rene Robert and other past and current Sabres to honor the memory of Louis J. Billittier, a well-known Western New York restaurateur and humanitarian.

"Seneca Niagara Casino is extremely excited to host some of the brightest luminaries in hockey's proud history," John Pasqualoni, President &CEO, Seneca Niagara Casino, said. "Not only will this tournament support a very worthwhile cause, it will also provide sports fans a tremendous opportunity to meet and interact with their heroes."

Throughout his life, Billittier worked tirelessly for many organizations dedicated to serving the needs of children, including The Heritage-Oak Foundation, The Make A Wish Foundation, The Variety Club of Buffalo, and many others. Chef's Restaurant, which Billittier owned and operated for several years, has been a Buffalo mainstay and continues to be popular among Buffalo's professional athletes and their peers from throughout the sporting world.

"My father dedicated a tremendous amount of his time and energy to helping sick, handicapped and underprivileged children," Louis Billittier, Jr., said. "We at Chef's have enjoyed a wonderful relationship with the Buffalo Sabres and the sport of hockey for many years, and it is an incredible tribute to my father's memory that these legends of the game are taking their time to support our efforts."

Players can register now through August 7 in the Poker Room at Seneca Niagara Casino. The tournament will begin at 5:00 p.m. on August 7.For a $300 buy-in, participants will be able to play at a table with one of the many hockey legends on hand. They will also compete for more than $40,000in cash and prizes.

Seneca Niagara Casino is New York State's first full-service casino featuring reel-spinning and video slot machines. Just a few blocks from world-famous Niagara Falls, the casino is located at 310 Fourth Street. The112,590 square-foot gaming floor houses more than 3,200 slot machines and98 table games. A separate smoke-free casino, Turtle Island, is also available to patrons, along with the Poker Room and the high-stakes Blue Heron Room.

In addition to gaming, Seneca Niagara Casino offers several restaurants including Thunder Falls Buffet, Morrie's Place and The WesternDoor: A Seneca Steakhouse. The Bear's Den Showroom, a 443-seatshowroom-style theater, and Club 101, a unique music venue located in theheart of the gaming floor, provide live entertainment. Free parking isavailable to patrons through complimentary valet services, self-parkingareas, and a four-story garage with covered walkway. The Casino is ownedand operated by the Seneca Nation of Indians.
