TONAWANDA CHAMBER GAMBLING ON NETWORKING EVENT
Niagara Falls, NY, March 2005 - Walking into a casino can be intimidating if you don't know how to play the various games. That's why the Tonawanda Chamber of Commerce is hosting an instructional gaming seminar on Tuesday, March 8 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, 55 Main St. in Tonawanda as a networking and learning opportunity. Tickets are $15 and available at the door.
The Chamber asked Seneca Niagara Casino to provide instructional dealers at the tables to teach the finer points, odds and playing strategies for Roulette, Craps, Poker and Baccarat. While cash gaming is not part of the evening, the Chamber is serving hors d'oeuvres, beer, wine and soft drinks, along with awarding prizes.
"We recognize the importance of networking in business," said Kurt Alverson, Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce of the Tonawandas. "This interactive evening offers a fun atmosphere along with networking, learning, food and prizes."
The Chamber regularly hosts networking events. Based on advance tickets sold, they expect this may become an annual activity. The seminar is open to Chamber members and their friends. Reservations are required.
