SENECA NIAGARA SPA HOTEL & CASINO TOPS OFF

NIAGARA FALLS, NY, February 2005 -American and Seneca Nation flags, along with a fir tree, became the highest points in Niagara Falls, NY on Friday, February 25 at noon. They were components of a topping off ceremony for the 26-level Seneca Niagara Spa Hotel & Casino at the intersection of 6th Street and Falls Street, adjacent to Seneca Niagara Casino.

The ceremony included remarks by Barry E. Snyder, Sr., President of the Seneca Nation of Indians, and G. Michael Brown, President and CEO of Seneca Gaming Corporation. There was also a presentation to President Snyder by the construction manager of Klewin Building Company of Niagara Falls, NY. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the final structural beam, already signed by the construction workers, was autographed by dignitaries. The flags and fir tree were then attached to the beam, and hoisted in place at the top of the 26th level of the hotel. The tree, from the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation, was donated by Shaun Humphrey of Tallchief-Sicoli-Massaro in memory of Iris Tallchief.

"It has taken just nine months for this magnificent structure to grace the Niagara Falls skyline," said President Snyder. "With this framework in place we have already made a sizable impact in the local economy through the creation of jobs and opportunities for local vendors. We now look forward to completing Phase I that include new space for gaming, dining and meetings, along with the first 10 floors of luxury accommodations by December 2005." The full 26 levels are expected to be in full operation in early 2006. Jeter, Cook & Jepson of Hartford, CT designed the new hotel.

The Seneca Niagara Spa Hotel & Casino will house several distinctive dining experiences, conference and meeting rooms, a business center and a multipurpose room designed for banquets, tradeshows and concerts. Among the numerous guest amenities are a full-service spa, hair and cosmetic salon, indoor/outdoor pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, whirlpools, steam rooms, saunas, and relaxation rooms. The hotel will contain 35,000 square feet of additional gaming space with adjoining entrances directly connected to the current gaming floor of Seneca Niagara Casino and the free parking garage.

When completed, the upscale hotel will offer four types of accommodations. The hotel will have more than 600 luxurious rooms with one king or two queen pillow-top beds and amenities including oversized showers, flat screen TVs, high-speed internet access, his and her armoires, safes and vanity areas. Also available will be corner suites with whirlpool tubs and living room areas, one-bedroom suites facing Niagara Falls, and 10 luxury penthouse suites to top off the hotel.

Seneca Niagara Casino is New York State's first full-service casino featuring reel-spinning and video slot machines. Just a few blocks from world-famous Niagara Falls, the Casino is located at 310 Fourth Street. The 112,590 square feet gaming floor houses more than 3,200 slot machines and 97 table games. A separate smoke-free casino, Turtle Island, is also available to patrons along with the Poker Room and the high-stakes Blue Heron Room.

In addition to gaming, Seneca Niagara Casino offers several restaurants including Thunder Falls Buffet, Morrie's Place and The Western Door: A Seneca Steakhouse. The Bear's Den Showroom, a 443-seat showroom-style theater and Club 101, a unique music venue located in the heart of the gaming floor, provide live entertainment. Free parking is available to patrons through complimentary valet services, self-parking areas and a four-story garage with covered walkway. The Casino is owned and operated by The Seneca Nation of Indians.
