Remote Outlet Attendant
Summary of Position:
This position requires the ability to handle cash, and operate coffee and food service equipment.� Limited food preparation skills and extensive customer service skills are required.� All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation�s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications and other Job Information:

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.
  • Must have limited cash handling, limited coffee shop and some degree of food production experience.
  • High school diploma or its equivalency required.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work all shifts including nights, weekends and holidays as required.

Culinary Baker
Summary of Position:
The Steakhouse Baker should possess expertise in a specialized method or style of patisserie. The ability to demonstrate entertainment value or produce specific ethnic or patisserie items also qualifies. The Baker is responsible for all baked items, including breads, pastries, and desserts. The Baker should have a minimum of 5 years experience in their field. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications and other Job Information:

  1. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.
  2. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  3. Minimum of five years patisserie experience.
  4. Degree from a postsecondary patisserie arts training program.
  5. Previous customer service preferred.
  6. Must be computer literate with working knowledge of the Micro Soft Operating System, including Word, Excel and email.
  7. Must be able to stand, walk and move through all areas of the casino for extended periods of time.
  8. Moderate physical activity is required along with the handling of objects up to 50 lbs. Work environment involves some exposure to physical risk, which requires following basic safety precautions.
  9. Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  10. Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.

High Volume Restaurant-Culinary Cooks (Level 4)
Summary of Position:
The Culinary Cook (Levels 1-4) prepares all food items with strict adherence to food specifications set out in recipe manual. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required. Culinary degree preferred.
  2. Previous Customer Service preferred.
  3. Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
  4. Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.

    Level 4:
    1. Requires experience in the preparation of large quantities of food in an open kitchen setting.
    2. Should be polite, knowledgeable, neatly groomed and possess the ability to interact with guests with patience and understanding while ensuring their work area is clean and organized.
    3. Will primarily work in the Buffet restaurant.

Steward
Summary of Position:
The stewarding kitchen worker is responsible for all operations in their specific area. Duties include preparing tableware for washing, collecting all soiled pots, washing and re-stacking clean pots on shelves, removing garbage and refuse for recycling and mopping and sweeping floors. The Kitchen Worker is also responsible for properly maintaining and distributing company assets, setting up dishwashing machine, stacking and storing clean dishes in proper kitchen areas and adhering to all safety policies and procedures. Monitor and ensure quality and efficiency of service at assigned area(s) of the property. All duties will be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
Starting Rate: $8.25/hr
Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
  2. Previous customer service experience preferred.

Banquet Server
Summary of Position:
The Banquet server is responsible to provide guest with an enjoyable, expertly served dining experience that exceeds their expectations. In order to execute this goal you may be required to perform any combination of the following duties: welcome greeter, cocktail server, hors d'oeuvre passer, reception bus person, buffet runner, front server, back server, exit usher. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives
Minimum Qualifications and other Job Information:

  • Six (6) months previous food and beverage experience in an upscale outlet. Position requires the ability to perform wait and server standards within a specific time frame.
  • Excellent guest relation skills and an ability to be attentive and anticipate all guest needs are necessary. (Be proactive)
  • High school diploma or its equivalent required.
  • Must be able to stand, walk and move through all areas of the Casino for a lengthy period of time-up to six (6) hours.
  • Must be able to carry up to 45 pounds.
  • Must maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
  • Must be able to work all shifts including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.

Banquet Barback
Summary of Position:
The Banquet Bar Back will provide friendly, excellent service to every customer as well as keep the beverage area clean and stocked at all times. Responsible for delivery of requisitioned bar supplies (i.e., CO2 canisters, liquor, wine, beer, fruit, glasses, matches, ashtrays, ice, etc.). Position requires extensive physical exertion of the arms, hands and legs, the use of four wheel carts, four wheel ice containers and two wheel trash containers. Tasks include pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, walking and reaching. Position requires the ability to communicate effectively in English. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to seventy-five (75) pounds, bend, pull and carry beverage stock to and from refrigerators and cabinets.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
  • High school diploma or its equivalency required.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate the following equipment: Juice guns, cutting boards, soda guns, ice machines, shot glasses, mixers, pourers, knives, coffee machines, non-alcoholic frozen drink machines, ice tea machines, and other necessary equipment.

Culinary Attendant-TDR
Summary of Position:
The Employee Dining Room Culinary Attendant is required to maintain the food stations in the EDR. Their primary responsibility is to ensure the product is fresh and stocked at the levels determined by the Sous Chef on duty. Other responsibilities include set up, break down and replenishment of the food and beverage stations. The EDR Attendant should be polite, knowledgeable, neatly groomed and possess the ability to interact with employees with enduring patience and understanding. They must also ensure their work area is clean and organized. This is considered to be an entry level position. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service preferred.
  • Experience not required -entry level position.
  • Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.

Property Operations:

HVAC
Summary of Position:
The HVAC Technician/Engineer shall be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of machinery, equipment and the site by following electrical codes, manuals, schematics diagrams, blueprints and other specifications. Involves the hands-on assembly and disassembly of component parts and machinery in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturers specifications.
Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment. High school diploma or its equivalency preferred.
  2. Must possess and retain an ARI Certification for HVAC Technician-Type: Universal.
  3. Candidate must have (5) five years to (10) ten years of previous hands-on HVAC experience.
  4. Previous customer service experience preferred.

Officer/EMT-D
Summary of Position:
The Officer/EMT-D is responsible for properly executing Emergency Medical Service obligations as an EMT-D. An Officer/EMT-D is also expected, but not limited, to be able to perform as an Officer with the capability of being available to respond to a medical incident at any given notice. An Officer/EMT-D provides adequate protection and care of the life and property of customers, employees and the Seneca Gaming Corporation property while maintaining exceptional customer service. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation�s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications and other Job Information:

  1. Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
  2. High school diploma or its equivalent required.
  3. Must be certified as a New York State EMT-D and have current CPR card.
  4. Candidates who have a good understanding and working knowledge with computers are preferred.
  5. Must have good observation skills.
  6. Must have good writing and spelling skills.
  7. Prior customer service experience preferred.
  8. Must be able to work in an intense and fast paced environment where a high degree of concentration is necessary to perform the required job duties.
  9. Applicants must be able to substantiate a safe driving record within the parameters acceptable to our liability insurance carrier.

Production Services Shift Manager
Summary of Position:
The Production Services Shift Manager is classified as a full-time employee and shall be responsible for the technical coordination of one of the following technical areas; Audio and repair, lighting and CAD, rigging and staging, or video and data for all live performances and special events. In addition, the Production Services Shift Manager must be able to assist in set-up, operation, removal and maintenance of all production services equipment. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications and other Job Information:

  1. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.
  2. High school diploma or its equivalency required.
  3. Five (5) years experience in the set-up, operation, removal and maintenance of rigging and staging.
  4. Advanced knowledge of technical theatre and its components. Possess advanced skill sets and knowledge of theatrical equipment and its principals.
  5. Two (2) years experience in production and/or theater management.
  6. Two (2) years experience in supervisory LEAD Engineer role of one of the following technical areas: rigging and staging.

Public Area Attendant
Summary of Position:
The Public Area Attendant will be responsible for the cleanliness of all public areas and both front and back of house areas according to casino standards. The Attendant will maintain the cleanliness of the in-house facilities. All duties will be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
Starting Rate: $8.25/hr
Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Must be at least 18 years of age and a High School Diploma preferred.
  2. Previous Customer service experience preferred.
  3. Must be familiar with proper use of all cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  4. Previous housekeeping experience a plus.

Locksmith
Summary of Position:
The Locksmith shall be responsible for the repair, rebuilding, replacement and installation of all locks and their mechanical parts throughout the interior and exterior of the casino and facilities. This position performs a variety of journey level duties in skilled locking systems repair and installation work. Other responsibilities are the making and issuing of keys and maintaining records of key/lock assignments. A keen sense of right and wrong are essential, as locksmiths are the �guardians of security�. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.
  2. High school diploma or its equivalency required.
  3. Minimum of (3) three to (5) five years full-time work experience as a locksmith helper/trainee and possess appropriate legal requirements, such as license/certification/registration.
  4. Knowledge of locksmith techniques and equipment, ability to repair, install and construct locks and locking devices, and ability to make keys. A strong background in commercial hardware. Knowledgeable in woodwork, metal work, and technical drawing and workshop practices is desirable.
  5. Certification master keying and safe work desirable but, not required.
  6. Locksmith bonding desirable but, not required.
  7. Previous customer service experience preferred.
  8. Applicants must be able to substantiate a safe driving record within the parameters acceptable to our liability insurance carrier.

Appliance Technician
Summary of Position:
The Appliance Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance of the kitchens appliances. Under minimal supervision, performs refrigeration, electrical, electronic and mechanical maintenance work independently on kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, freezers, disposals, pumps, motors, steam kettles, ovens, and compressors. Also involves installation of equipment and performs related work as required. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
  2. High school diploma or equivalent is required and any combination equivalent to ten years of experience in the journey-level repairs of kitchen equipment.
  3. Must have knowledge of electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, electronic and refrigeration methods, current technology, principles and practices related to institutional kitchens. Kitchen maintenance and repair, including circuit tracing and troubleshooting skills related to electric motors, pumps, compressors, and electronic sensors knowledge required.
  4. Must know current refrigeration technology and EPA regulations.
  5. Applicants must be able to substantiate a safe driving record within the parameters acceptable to our liability insurance carrier.

Traffic Controller
Summary of Position:
The Traffic Controller directs traffic in and out of the casino. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.
  2. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  3. Possession and maintenance of a valid driver's license is preferred.
  4. Applicants must be able to substantiate a safe driving record within the parameters acceptable to our liability insurance carrier.

Hotel Operations:

Director of Hotel Operations
Summary of Position:
Under the supervision of the Vice President of Resort Operations, the incumbent, both personally or through subordinates, directs and administers Hotel Operations ensuring first class service and accommodations. Incumbent has departmental oversight of, but not limited to, Front Desk, Housekeeping, VIP, Bell Staff, Spa & Salon, and Transportation. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
Minimum Education/Experience:

  1. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.
  2. High School diploma or equivalent required. Baccalaureate Degree preferred, preferably in Hospitality Management or Business.
  3. Must have at least 5-10 years experience in hospitality management.
  4. Must have both Front desk and Housekeeping management experience. Required of 3-5 years in a full service hotel or casino hotel.
  5. Must have knowledge and understanding of various hotel operating systems. Preferred systems of LMS, Lodgenet, TimeLox, but others are acceptable.
  6. Must have proficient computer skills.
  7. Must have excellent customer service skills.
  8. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Guest Room Attendant
Summary of Position:
Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Floor Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring clean and orderly guest rooms while providing top quality customer service. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
Starting Rate:$8.25/hr
Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  2. Prior hotel cleaning experience preferred.
  3. Must possess basic mathematical skills necessary for conducting inventories and counting linens.

Resort Operations:

Nail Technician
Summary of Position:
Under the supervision of the Salon Shift Manager, the incumbent provides professional, high quality hand and nail care services for clients. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
  2. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  3. 2-4 years salon experience or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education is required.
  4. Must possess well developed customer service techniques and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients.
  5. Experience with Acrylic Nails
  6. Must be able to work all shifts including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
  7. Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.

Esthetician
Summary of Position:
Under the supervision of the Salon Shift Manager, the incumbent provides high quality beauty services for clients. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Analyzes skin to ascertain condition; performs services such as facials, skin peels, waxing, paraffin treatments, acne treatments, facial/upper extremity massage, cleansing, hydrating, aroma therapy, back treatments and product/make-up application.
  • Recommends products and continued home care; restocks supply closet; notifies manager of supply shortages.
  • Organizes room and equipment prior to services and sanitizes equipment at completion of services.
  • Maintain a professional proficiency in state-of-the-art techniques, procedures, equipment and all phases of skin care.
  • Promote the sale of salon/spa products and services.
  • Promote positive public/employee relations at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
  • Must adhere to Seneca Gaming Corporation Policies and Procedures.

Procurement Manager
Summary of Position:
The number one goal of the Procurement Manger is to protect the bottom line of the company by obtaining the best value for the right goods and/or services requested by the operating departments.� The Procurement Manager is responsible for the successful management of the daily operations and leadership of the Procurement Team.� Development of new processes, creative approaches, and empowering all member of the Procurement Team are essential characteristics required to fill this position.� All bidding will be done electronically utilizing Microsoft Office products and Procurement software.� It is the responsibility of the Procurement Manager to protect all casino assets and to ensure that the department runs efficiently and safely within the guidelines of the SGC�s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, objectives and the Compact.
Minimum Qualifications:

  2. High school diploma or equivalent required.� Bachelor�s degree preferred.
  3. Minimum of 5 years of casino Procurement and/or industry management experience and at least 3 years of supervisory/management experience.� In addition, the three ways to qualify as a Manager are:
    1. Bachelors Degree with a minimum of five (5) years of corporate Procurement or equivalent experience.
    2. Associates Degree with a minimum of seven (7) years of corporate or equivalent Procurement experience.
    3. High School Degree with a minimum of eight (8) years of corporate Procurement experience.
  4. Successful candidate must be an experienced, results oriented, hands-on professional.
  5. Must be able to evaluate statistical reports and other business reports.
  6. Must possess an understanding of Procurement issues.
  7. Must demonstrate leadership, fairness, and sensibility to the guests and employees.
