Five-time Grammy Award winner, with 35 years of blues mastery, Robert Cray brings an indefinable sound to the stage. In 1974, when the time came for Cray to move his sound in another direction on the foot of a widely praised collection, he found what he was looking for when he turned to an old friend and colleague, Richard Cousins, who began his tenure as bassist in Cray’s band. Such early albums as Strong Persuader and Don’t be Afraid of the Dark were both winners of best contemporary blues performance Grammy. Cray’s latest album, This Time, sent him back on the road in 2009 with concert appearances in Brazil and Japan, along with several stops around the United States. The music on This Time includes punchy outings like “Chicken in the Kitchen” and “That’s What Keeps Me Rockin’” should satisfy even the most demanding blues fans!

For more than three decades, Spyro Gyra has been at the forefront of modern jazz.  “Morning Dance”, released in 1979, became a Top 40 single and proved to be Spyro Gyra’s breakout song. To this day, the Calypso-inspired song is still very popular on contemporary jazz stations. Meanwhile, the heavy touring that began around this same time has yet to stop, and a few new faces have entered the picture along the way: Leading Spyro Gyra are its saxophonist, Jay Beckenstein, keyboardist, Jeremy Wall, with guitarist and vocalist, Julio Fernandez and bassist, Scott Ambush. Recently, the band has been nominated for three Grammy Awards for the Good To Go-Go album in 2007 and A Night Before Christmas in 2008.

With exceptional uncanny performances to Neil Diamond, it is hard for anyone to prove that Jay White is in fact, not Neil Diamond.  Diamond even autographed a photo for White writing, “Is this me or you?”  Since 1982, White has been wowing audiences in the U.S. and has even toured in Europe and Asia. White’s ability to impersonate and capture Neil Diamond’s entertaining essence has made him a household name in the music world.  In other words, he is the “next best thing” to Neil Diamond. He’s been a fixture on the Vegas strip for decades and is considered the city’s longest running “solo tribute act”.
